🌈 How to Make Rainbow Smoothies

Who said that food can’t be fashionable? Add a bright and colorful food-cessory to your family’s summer aesthetic by making rainbow smoothies! These smoothies are both vibrant and good for you; there’s no better way to have your kids eat their daily fruits and veggies!

You can make these smoothies a part of your family’s June Pride celebration, too! A batch of rainbow smoothies are the perfect treat to sip on while talking with your kids about Pride history. Ingredients

Note: Each smoothie yields one serving

Smoothie base:

  • 1 cup milk of choice
  • ½ cup plain yogurt 

Red smoothie:

  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 1 cup strawberries
  • ½ cup pomegranate juice

Orange smoothie:

  • 1 cup oranges
  • 1 cup peaches
  • ½ cup carrot juice

Yellow smoothie:

  • 1 cup pineapple
  • 1 cup mango

Green smoothie:

  • 1 cup kiwis
  • 1 cup banana
  • Handful of spinach

Purple smoothie:

  • 2 cups blueberries

Instructions for Making Rainbow Smoothies

Step one: Begin by adding the smoothie base ingredients to a blender. Choose one of the colors and add its ingredients to the blender. Blend until smooth or until you reach your desired texture.

Step two: Rinse the blender in between colors. Repeat step one until you’ve made each color of smoothie.

Step three: To present your rainbow smoothies, you can pour each color into its own glass or stack layers in individual glasses to create a rainbow in a cup. If you choose to layer your smoothies, use a spoon to gently lay each color on top of the other.
