St. Patrick’s Day Shamrock Craft
The shamrock is a famous symbol of Ireland. It’s known to bring good luck! Luckier still is the rare and elusive four-leaf clover. Did you hunt for four-leaf clovers in elementary school? Are your little ones following in your clover-hunting footsteps? Well, hunt no further! With some green construction paper and a pair of scissors, you make your own luck! Cut your own clovers and spread the St. Patrick’s Day fun!
Fun Fact: The word “shamrock” comes from the Celtic word “seamrog,” meaning “little clover.”
Note: Did you know that Irish shamrocks and four-leaf clovers are actually two different kinds of plants? Try making both of them! Cut some four-leaf clover shapes, then make some three-leaf clovers as well.
